How it works
- One line, an iframe. It works on most website builders that accept an HTML or "embed code" block, such as WordPress, Google Sites and Squarespace.
- Nothing to maintain. The number of days updates itself every day. Exam dates come from JCQ (GCSE, A-level) and the IB's May 2027 schedule, listed on the countdown page.
- What it loads. The widget is a small page on learn.askpoppy.ai/countdown/ with no third-party scripts. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps standard aggregate visit statistics.
- Credit. The widget shows a small "Exam countdown by Ask Poppy" link. Please leave it in.

Want help in those revision sessions? Ask Poppy is an AI tutor you talk or type to. It asks what you already know and gives one hint at a time instead of handing you the answer, and it remembers where you left off. Free for 30 messages a day; unlimited use is optional ($3.99/week or $9.99/month in the US store). Like any AI, it can make mistakes.
Free, 30 messages a day · iPhone, iPad and Mac. (Disclosure: this free tool is made by the Ask Poppy team.)
