Learn out loud is a small set of free tools from Ask Poppy (Poppy Labs AS, Oslo, Norway). Ask Poppy is an AI tutor that asks questions instead of giving answers. We built these tools because the question "who is doing the thinking?" matters whichever AI you use.
Privacy
- No accounts, cookies, ads or advertising trackers on this site.
- We count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which Cloudflare says uses no cookies and doesn't fingerprint visitors. It never sees what you type into a tool.
- Everything you type into a tool is processed by your own browser and never sent to us.
- Our host (Cloudflare) also keeps standard aggregate request statistics, such as page views per day.
Honesty
Pages are written by Simon Dreyer, founder of Ask Poppy, and show when they were last updated. Comparison pages only state competitor facts we found on the company's own pages or App Store listings, link to each source, show the date we checked, and say "unknown" when we couldn't confirm something. They also say where the other tool is better. We name our own product where it's relevant and say that we make it. We don't claim learning outcomes we haven't measured.
